Garden Blooms

Graduate collection created for SS22. An exuberant study of the importance of the garden in art and culture, looking in particular at Impressionist painters and their looser approach to capturing the transience of nature. By combining painterly blooms and lush foliage, the resulting imagery reveals expressive brushstrokes and a new interpretation of the cottagecore aesthetic. With a palette featuring rich jewel tones grounded by natural muted greens, the prints express the vitality of the spring to summer transition whilst simultaneously updating familiar floral motifs.
